After a while of feeling very uncomfortable with my NHS hearing aids I was persuaded to have a consultation with the Uplands Branch of Hearing Wales. I had a consultation with the delightful Sophia Vargas who made the whole process easy to understand with an explanation for every stage and excellent advice throughout , all in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The decision was quite easy to make as the vast difference I felt on trying out the aids confirmed to me that the improvement I would experience would be well worth the change . A week later I was fitted with my new hearing aids and I was delighted to not only hear properly again but also to feel comfortable with small unobtrusive hearing aids that do a fantastic job. To have people ask me where my hearing aids are as they need to look closely to see that I am wearing them is an added bonus!
The service is unrivalled. Forget the High Street audiologists and hearing aid suppliers. Been there and got the tee shirt so to speak. Hearing Wales is a first class hearing aid assessor and hearing aid supplier. To boot, their after care service is second to none. Their audiologist Fiona, in the Mumbles branch is outstanding. Fiona cares for her clients and wants the best hearing outcome for us as individuals. Personal service at its best. I am so happy to be one of their customers. Hearing Wales have been fantastic. I live in a secluded area and often struggle to get out of the house. They arranged a home visit at my convenience, and brought all the equipment to me. I have a home visit whenever I require an appointment, and always free of charge. For me, this excellent service is what makes Hearing Wales different.
I have had an NHS hearing aid for a few years, and always struggled with it, especially in group situations. I was afraid that a private hearing aid would be expensive, but the staff at Hearing Wales helped me discuss a wide variety of options I never knew were available and affordable for me. I have seen various specialists in the past who have been unable to help with my wax problem, so going into my appointment I was 99% sure they would have the same issue. I am pleased to say this wasn’t the case, the ear wax removal nurse got all the wax out of both ears, it was painless and it made the world of difference to my hearing!
Was at a loss to know what to do when my hearing aid was not working. Bought the aid at Specsavers but they were not at all helpful unfortunately. Rang Hearing Wales and they helped me straight away. Well done Hearing Wales!
For 30 years I had been told I had very little hearing in my right ear and that not a lot could be done to help. So I came to Hearing Wales upon a recommendation, with the hope they could perhaps help with my ‘better’ left ear, and was delighted that the audiologist told me he had a solution for both ears. Now I wear two hearing aids, and I can hear the birds again! The hearing aids have changed my life, and the free after care included gives you peace of mind that they are always there to help.
