HEARING AID NEWS – WHATS NEW? I think we would all agree that 2020 has been a challenging year so far, particularly for those suffering from hearing loss.  As many of you will have experienced, hearing loss can often lead to feelings of loneliness and isolation, but the lockdown and continued safety measures have really heightened this.

Technology has helped in some ways, but has also been frustrating, especially if you are unable to hear as well as you used to.  And let’s not get started on masks!

We wanted to share with you ways that we can help you during these times, and also share some other hearing aid news with you.

COVID-19 SAFE HEARING CARE

During lockdown, we kept our phone lines open throughout, and were able to continue to help our clients remotely with hearing aid adjustments and  repairs, and

PPE hearing care, PPE hearing, PPE, hearing loss, hearing care, safe hearing aids some new orders.  We still are able to do this but are delighted that we can also offer the following services in a COVID safe way:

Probably the most exciting and innovative hearing aid news in 2020 goes to Widex and their range of Moment hearing aids.  Currently, we are the only audiologists in Wales to offer these aids but the most appealing aspect about these aids is that Widex have reduced the delay of sound entering the ear via the aid to zero seconds!  This has never been done before and is a revelation for those  users who find the delay and echoing in other aids irritating.

HEARING AID ‘MASK MODE
